Who is this child?

In the past few weeks, Dallin's vocabulary has just exploded. Sometimes he leaves me wondering if he's really my child or not. We've had some interesting moments and some good laughs lately, that's for sure. Here are some things he has said recently:

*Last night Jason and I were hugging and Dallin came up and put his arms around us. Then he looked up at us and said very seriously, "Thanks guys". We just looked at each other and laughed.

*Today when I told him it was time for a diaper change, he asked me if he could run around in circles first.

*When I walked past the baby (who was playing on the floor), he told me to be careful and pointed to her.

*In the last few weeks he has been constantly telling me that he can lift "heavy hangs" (heavy things) and that he can do everything by himself.

*He asked for more juice the other day and I said "no more juice but you can have some water", he said, "Why Mama, why?" I said "because you need to drink more water-it's good for you" and he said, "Oh, okay".

*At the store he told me that a bearded guy was Jesus.

But this one makes motherhood all worth while:

*One of his favorite songs is 'I Hope They Call me on a Mission' and he is always asking me to sing it to him. Last week, after we sang it, he said, "Mama, I go on a mission" with a big smile on his face. I'm just happy that I get him for 16 1/2 more years first.

So cute! I can't wait till Landon can talk to us! John's way excited to have conversations with him. I'm just hoping his first word isn't "crap" cause we both say it a fair amount!!!

Okay, Jason and I were just laughing out loud reading Dallin's funny lines. Hilarious! Kids are the best. Our personal favorite is the running around in circles first. So random!
