What a beautiful, beautiful wedding. Cari and Alec were sealed together on August 1st, Dallin's birthday, in the Sacramento temple. I wish I had remembered my camera and gotten more pictures. Thanks to Rose for these!

More birthday madness

The very next day, August 3rd, we had all the Nartkers over for dinner to celebrate Erin and Dallin's birthdays. Dallin loves having his cousins over and had a great time. Somehow I got distracted and didn't get any pictures of Erin, how rude of me. The whole weekend was one of the craziest, busiest, hottest, most awesome weekends we've ever had!

August 2nd

My posts are all out of order because I'm trying to get some wedding pictures up, but this is the day after the big wedding at my parents' house. Dallin got some sweet digger toys from his cousins Nathan, Carly and Malena, and he's very excited about them. Carly's birthday was just a few days later so she was opening a present from us too. And then Jason conked out on the couch and Dallin saw him and decided he was a perfect pillow for his own nap. :) Man, I love my boys!

Happy Birthday Dallin!

Dallin turned 3 on August 1st! Since Cari and Alec's wedding was the same day, we celebrated the night before at Grandma and Grandpa Mixa's house. I made Dallin a digger cake this year, since he is crazy about diggers and construction right now (and also because I have felt guilty for the last 365 days about the store bought Spongebob cake I got last year!). It was so much fun to just relax with our family, celebrate Dallin's special day, and prepare for the big wedding.
